Margate’s moveable restaurant, Barletta operates here in the gallery. You may have heard of their seasonal rooftop spot; Barletta on the Roof or enjoyed their Sunday Roast up at the Rose in June. Run by partners Jackson Berg & Natalia Ribbe, Barletta is a true celebration of the couple’s travels and passion for food & drink. Their inspiration is deep-rooted in their love of all things Mediterranean. From Sicily to Athens, Barcelona to Marseille, Barletta is seasonal, fun and vibrant alongside personable hospitality.
The restaurant is open for lunch Tuesday – Sunday 10am-5pm (last food orders at 3.30pm, coffee and cake is served until 4.30pm) where you will find a weekly changing menu and daily selection of cakes & cookies prepared by their resident pastry chef, Emma Tillyer. Post lunch, sit back and take in the harbour view with coffee provided by Margate-based roastery, Curve Coffee.
Dine in the gallery after hours with Barletta, Thursday – Saturday 6-9.30pm. Their same seasonal ethos applies to their evening offering, plus cocktails, an extended wine list and an excellent soundtrack as you enjoy the sunset on the main sands.
On Sundays you can indulge in Barletta’s famous Sunday Roast, which is served every week 12-4pm (last orders 3.45pm). A selection of snacks is on offer alongside your choice of roast (vegetarian & vegan options are available).
Bookings are encouraged for lunch & dinner.
