This year’s LGBT+ History Month theme is Politics in Art: ‘the Arc is Long’. As an arts and culture-led pride, Margate Pride celebrates the pioneers who have come before us to lead the way in the fight for justice and equal rights, and looks to continue their work.

Join Margate Pride in the Foyle Rooms to express what you are passionate about, what is important to you, and create a poster or banner to tell the world! Take inspiration from some protest art from past Pride parades, and channel your creative self. You could use your poster or banner when attending this year’s Margate Pride parade and rally in August, and also put it up at home to remind you to speak up and take action for what you believe in.
