Satelliser is a French verb which means to put into orbit.  Spanning podcasting, writing, speaking and dance, Satelliser brings together an international and intergenerational group of artists in conversation with audiences and guests.

The live presentation, Satelliser: a dance for the gallery, is a durational performance in which the artist coworkers cycle through labours of moving, speaking, listening and resting over the course of a day, holding buoyant space for conversation to emerge throughout.

The work has been redeveloped in 2020/21, taking place online across 5 time zones and through multiple lockdowns. As the artists have each navigated upheaval, dislocation, political turmoil and changing personal circumstances, the process of being together in conversation has both amplified and challenged what they imagined this work might be and do.

The performances will be taking place in the main galleries, currently showing The Turner Contemporary Open exhibition.
