This workshop is designed to build confidence and encourage freedom when working on a hand-loom. Our looms are set up in a variety of ways in preparation for this workshop, providing students with a great chance to experiment with different techniques and ideas.

A wide selection of weft yarns is provided and participants are more than welcome to bring along sketchbooks / sources of inspiration to feed into their work, and their own yarns or materials. At the end of the workshop students will leave with a selection of hand woven samples which reflect a range of different techniques and materials.

The price per person includes all equipment and materials including a wide selection of luxury and experimental yarns and fabrics. Your booking will include a light lunch. Please email us with any dietary requirements. If you have any questions prior to booking, get in touch:

Margo Selby currently also has an exhibition on in Turner Contemporary’s cafe. TESSELLATION 2020 is an installation of 6 unique hand woven panels from Margo’s ongoing TESSELLATION series, to coincide with the gallery’s main exhibition We Will Walk – Art and Resistance in the American South.
