A visit to Turner Contemporary comes with incredible art and stunning sea views as standard. If you’re after something extra special, we offer plenty of activities to suit your interests. From Curator-led talks, to private dining and guest speakers, our events team can even help you with discounts on local accommodation.
Bespoke Tours
Our expert-led tours give you an in-depth understanding of the current exhibition and artist/s involved, help you learn new ways to engage with art and give you an insight into our history, the work we do and the social and economic impact of the gallery on the local area.
Tours can take place between 10.30am and 4pm (galleries close at 5pm) and last for 45 minutes.
- Engagement Assistant £5 + VAT per person
- Assistant Curator £10 + VAT per person
- Curator £20 + VAT per person
All groups should be a minimum of 10 and maximum of 20 people.
Private dining
Experience Margate’s culinary talents with private dining at the gallery. Whether you’re looking for something casual or more formal, we work with a range of local suppliers and our in-house cafe Louie on Sea to offer a unique dinner with a view.
Guest speakers
We have a roster of guest speakers available to inspire, motivate and entertain your group. Our events team can help you decide who would be the best fit for you based on your needs and timings.
Exclusive hire
Take over the whole gallery to stage large-scale events in a modern, minimalist setting. An ideal backdrop for shoots, shows and ambitious brands looking to make a statement. Contact our team to discuss your ideas and timelines.
