Over the years Turner Contemporary has worked to engage and involve our audiences through numerous exciting and creative initiatives. We champion creative empowerment, collaboration and co-curation. Projects have included child-leadership programmes, co-curated exhibitions, art commissions, skills development programmes, intergenerational projects, school projects and outreach, early years initiatives and much more. World Ocean Day workshop
For World Ocean Day 2023, Turner Contemporary hosted Aphra Shemza and SPACER for an environmental workshop with local school children, part of the Young Environmental Leaders project.
