We are recruiting for three fixed-term Engagement Assistants to join our Visitor Engagement Team.
Job Title: Engagement Assistant
Department: Visitor Engagement
Location: Turner Contemporary, Rendezvous, Margate, CT9 1HG
Reports to: Visitor Engagement Manager
Hours of work: Part-time, between 12-24 hours per week to be agreed. Weekend working required.
Salary: Living Wage Foundation Living Wage, currently £12.60 per hour
Deadline: 10am on Wednesday 14th January 2026.Interviews will be held on Thursday 29th and Friday 30th January.
As an Engagement Assistant you'll be at the heart of Turner Contemporary, helping every visitor feel welcome, whether they are experiencing art for the first time, returning as a regular, or taking part in a family workshop or guided tour. You'll bring the gallery's mission to life through friendly, engaging interactions, excellent customer service, and hands-on support for exhibitions and learning activities.
