Changes in opening hours

Please note that during changeover periods, when an exhibition at Turner Contemporary ends and before a new one is installed, the gallery, café and shop may be closed temporarily. To stay informed of our opening hours, we recommend visiting the ‘Plan Your Visit’ page of our website, or following us on social media, so you are always aware of when we are closed for exhibition changeovers and any other updates to our schedule.

Also, you can contact us by phone or email, if you need confirmation or have any other questions regarding opening hours or accessibility.

Turner Contemporary is located in Margate on the North Kent Cost in the South East of England.

Margate is only a 90 minute drive or train journey from Central London.
