About the curator
Melissa Blanchflower is Senior Curator at Turner. Since taking up the role, she has worked with Beatriz Milhazes, Mark Leckey, Anya Gallaccio, and curated the first Sunley Window Commission with Cassi Namoda. Prior to this, she spent eight years as a curator at Serpentine curating notable projects including exhibitions of Kamala Ibrahim Ishag, Jennifer Packer, Faith Ringgold, Christo and Jeanne-Claude and Rose Wylie, which won the Sky Arts Award for Visual Art in 2018, as well as Hilma af Klint and Emma Kunz.
