A vibrant market, showcasing the creativity, talent, and entrepreneurial spirit of young people from across Thanet.
Browse stalls run by entrepreneurs, designers, artists and makers aged 8–24 and discover a variety of original products including jewellery, textiles, 3D printing, and more, making it a great opportunity to support the next generation.
Alongside the stallholders, there will be live entertainment by local artists.
This event is part of the national Teenage Market initiative, funded by Thanet District Council as part of Thanet’s UK Shared Prosperity Funding. Each market gives young people the chance to experience what it’s like to run a stall, develop business ideas and build confidence in a real marketplace.
Stallholder and Performer Information
The market is open to young people aged 8–24 who live or study in Thanet. Applications are welcome from anyone with a product, a creative idea, a small business, or an interest in performing as a solo singer at the market. The event encourages originality, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking and is designed to be supportive and accessible for first-time traders and performers, offering a valuable opportunity to engage with the public and gain hands-on experience.
Visit the Teenage Market website before 31 March to find out more and apply for a stall.
