A softly lit winter sound bath inviting deep rest, nervous-system ease and inner stillness.
About the Event
Deep Rest is a gentle, immersive sound bath designed to support nervous-system regulation, emotional balance and deep relaxation through the winter season. Led by multidisciplinary practitioner Eleanor Yankah, the session weaves Himalayan singing bowls with chimes, drone instruments, crystal quartz bowls, shruti, gong and subtle percussion to create an enveloping field of sound.
You’ll enter a softly lit space and begin with a brief settling practice using breath and sensory awareness to prepare the body for rest. The resonant tones of traditional Himalayan bowls generate harmonic overtones known for easing tension, slowing brainwave activity and encouraging emotional release and clarity.
This experience invites you to slow down, let go and sink into spacious stillness.
Please wear warm, comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, blanket, thick socks and any cushions you need.
Suitable for ages 18+
About Eleanor Yankah
Eleanor Yankah is a multidisciplinary practitioner drawing from Ayurveda, breathwork, sound therapy, energy work and colour-based therapeutic approaches. Trained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, she is a qualified Ayurvedic Consultant and has studied sound with the Himalayan Academy of Sound, Sound Healing Bali and the pioneering Tama-Do Academy, founded by Fabien Maman.
Eleanor’s sound work centres on creating restorative, accessible experiences that support emotional balance and nervous-system ease. Her sessions offer a simple, inclusive approach where participants can rest comfortably and let the vibrations guide them toward deeper regulation, regardless of prior experience.
