Explore Blue Mind Theory with Sarah Hakewill — a 60-minute journey out of your head and into your body, reconnecting you with the calming, creative power of water
Sea Trippin’ is a 60-minute workshop inviting you to move out of your head and into your body, refocusing your attention on connection with water and the natural world.
Sarah introduces the neuroscience of being in or near water, exploring “Blue Mind” as a calm, restorative state that can counter the over-anxious “Red Mind” so common in modern life. You’ll discover why blue spaces are such powerful places for regulation, imagination and play, and how their colours, energies and sensations can awaken curiosity and creativity.
Through reflection and simple practical tools, you’ll learn ways to invite the calm, clarity and inspiration of the sea into everyday life — even when you’re far from the coast. Expect to leave feeling nourished, inspired and more deeply connected to both yourself and the blue world around you.
