Explore how movement and performative techniques can ground the nervous system, heighten sensory awareness and open new ways of feeling and perceiving the body.
About the Workshop
Join Margate-based artist and mover Ted Rogers for a two-hour movement workshop exploring improvisation, rhythm and the possibilities of the moving body.
Working with continuous motion, you will explore fluid pathways, shifting group formations and a range of physical expressions, from gentle stretches to more dynamic and cathartic movement. The session invites you to respond to your surroundings, experiment with pace and texture, and discover new ways of moving alongside others.
Ted’s movement workshops have become part of Margate’s creative landscape, bringing people together through shared physical experience and open-ended exploration. No previous experience is needed. The workshop welcomes all abilities, with space to find your own approach to movement.
Suitable for ages 18+.
