A candle-lit mindful movement journey exploring slow embodiment, group presence and fluid, meditative motion.
About the Workshop
Join Margate-based artist and mover Ted Rogers for a candle-lit, two-hour mindful movement workshop designed for all levels. This session uses slow, continuous motion as a form of embodied meditation, guiding you through stretches, fluid pathways, gentle improvisations and shifting group formations.
You’ll explore how movement can soften the nervous system, heighten sensory awareness and open new ways of feeling and perceiving the body. Ted’s approach invites curiosity over perfection — an exploration of texture, pacing and collective presence as the room evolves moment by moment.
As a group, we aim to stay in unbroken motion, learning how to move near others with ease, remain attentive within a changing environment and adapt shapes to suit your own body and ability. Expect an atmospheric, visually rich experience that expands awareness and cultivates a deep, grounded sense of embodied connection.
Suitable for ages 18+
