Young Creatives X RNLI

Aged under 25?

Living in Kent/ Medway?

Like to express yourself, have things to say and want to take action?

Young Creatives is a free platform for young people living (under 25) in Kent and Medway to get their art and ideas out in the world.

Celebrating JMW Turner’s fascination with the ocean and Margate’s unique light, we have decided to partner with our neighbours the RNLI. Waves Breaking on a Lee Shore at Margate (1840) was painted on the site of the gallery and will be going on display at Turner Contemporary in April 2025.

The Brief

The RNLI are a FORCE, built from a team of courageous volunteers, who put others before themselves and ensure practice of sea safety is available for all.

Partnering with our neighbour RNLI, we invite you to take action in response to this year’s theme FORCE. We encourage you to take a closer look at your surroundings, ask questions and find innovative ways to create art.

Unlock your inner creative FORCE  and enter now for a chance to show the world your voice!

Deadline: 11.59pm, Friday 9 May 2025.
