Turnips

Through working in partnership with local children’s centres and with support from The Margate Early Learning community and Save The Children, these monthly workshops offer a variety of bespoke sensory and creative activities for all families to enjoy.  

The sessions are promoted through the local children’s centres, making sure we reach a wide range of local families and encouraging new audiences into the gallery who would never have engaged with the gallery or the arts prior to attending a Turnip session. The sessions attract a diverse group of local families to engage with the arts and learn new simple skills to carry on at home with the use of simple materials.
