Safeguarding Statement
Turner Contemporary upholds the principle that all individuals have the right to protection from abuse or harm and promotes a culture and environment which is safe and welcoming for all. We are committed to safeguarding the wellbeing of employees, volunteers and every visitor who accesses the gallery, uses our facilities, or participates in our activities and learning programme.
Turner Contemporary’s staff and volunteers are all responsible for implementing the gallery’s safeguarding policy and procedures. We also recognise the important role that visitors can play in helping us to keep Turner Contemporary safe. If you are concerned about your own wellbeing or safety or that of anyone else within the gallery, please speak to a member of Turner Contemporary staff.
