This show celebrates local talent, and offers an opportunity to shop a wide range of design-led fine and demi-fine jewellery, conceived and constructed in Margate, directly from eight skilled makers.

Featuring Alice Ruby, Ami Blastock, Rosita Bonita, Billie Grand, Jayne Fowler, Rebecca Gladstone, and more.

On Sunday 14 December you can also take part in a Gilded Walnut Workshop to create your own beautiful decoration with drop-in and ticketed sessions available throughout the day. A bar will also be open serving mulled cider and Christmas cocktails.

Meet The Makers

Rosita Bonita

Rosita Bonita creates show-stopping hand-crafted jewellery, fusing innovation & tradition.

Evocative designs are brought to life in recycled sterling silver and laser-engraved mother of pearl, and embellished with carefully selected gemstones, chosen for their intrinsic qualities of colour or individual character, rather than perceived market value. These pieces are created with a belief in the transformative and transportative power of adornments - to bring joy and confidence, and to unlock the power of imagination and a sense of wonder. They are inspired by escapism; dreams of a luxuriously leisurely existence, with the timeless glamour of midcentury Tropical Deco & Hollywood Regency styles, but are imbued with a fascination for folklore, charms, amulets and talismans.

Billie Grand

Working solely in precious metals, Billie Grand's creations focus on sculptural, fluid lines with pieces made using techniques in wire, fusing, and wax modelling. Pieces are designed to be playful, expressive and statement-making. Billie Grand works on collections whilst also accepting bespoke commissions. Using ethically sourced, high-quality materials with a focus on sustainability throughout their practice

Jayne Fowler

Jayne creates one-of-a-kind heirlooms to be passed down through generations.

Cuttlefish casting provides the backbone of her making process, producing textures of raw, unexplainable beauty, and fuelling her constant collaboration with the natural world.

Her inquisitive drive comes from the unpredictability of experimenting with fusing gemstones in to gold & silver - often working with stones traditionally not able to withstand such high temperatures. Her choice of using less durable, but equally special, gemstones is lead by questioning as well respecting tradition.

All her collections are named after long-lost Victorian slang, as she loves reviving the forgotten.

Rebecca Gladstone

Rebecca Gladstone is a British designer based in the seaside town of Margate Kent, creating jewellery that exists in a playful alternate realm. Her pieces embody echoes of myth, symbolism, and humour. Inspired by gothic melodrama, fairy tales, magic, nature, and historical aesthetics woven into contemporary narratives, creating a collection of spirited, whimsical, and sometimes humorous otherworldly pieces. Each piece is designed, made, and forged by hand. Cast in Gold and Silver and offset with a range of shimmering precious and semi-precious gemstones.

Ami Blastock

Drawing inspiration from her travels and love for the ocean Ami’s creations are infused with timeless allure, capturing the essence of natural beauty. Vibrant beaches, marine life, and diverse cultures bring colour and texture to her unique designs.

With an unmatched mastery of artisan hand-craftsmanship, and a dedication to traditional techniques, Ami meticulously crafts each original piece. Her exceptional knowledge guides the selection of precious and semi-precious materials, chosen to ensure every creation is a masterpiece.

Nadia Eloise Jewellery

Inspired by shapes, textures and colours that are all around us, discovering the beauty in the mundane. Playing with everyday shapes and ideas that we disregard and transforming them into wearable art treasures. Nadia makes pieces ranging from bold and chunky rings to delicate and elegant pendants crafted by hand using traditional goldsmithing techniques and lost wax carving to create special pieces.

Smith  Sun

Smith & Sun creates hand-carved jewellery inspired by myth, mysticism, and ancient metalwork. Founder Tara crafts rugged, patinated pieces that echo ancestral talismans, each made with ethically sourced metals, recycled elements, and carefully selected gemstones. Rooted in the belief that we are all connected - past, present, and future - Smith & Sun emphasises environmental responsibility and the healing properties of natural materials. Most creations are one-of-a-kind amulets or small-run editions, with the option for bespoke collaboration.

Billie M Vigne

Billie M. Vigne is an artist and metalsmith based in Kent, working in an array of historical, artisanal and folk craft techniques alongside installation, sound and performance. Billie’s current jewellery works use fusing to reconfigure scrap silver into pilgrim souvenirs that document the voyages of alter ego Bill Bones. Strung on silk ragsthey commemorate the temperamental intricacies of chronic illness and orientate hand-making as a fundamental conduit for memorialising embodied experience.

Alongside these sculptural silver offerings Billie also makes a series of notorious, menacing, face-shaped charms called the Death Masks and runs the Beer Can Votive project - a collaborative forum of embossing workshops in which people make their own votive offerings from used aluminium drinks cans and offer them to communal shrines.

Barbora Rybarova

Inspired by nature’s raw elegance, Barbora creates one-of-a-kind jewellery and limited collections which celebrate the beauty of rough and uniquely cut gemstones. Her work transforms organic textures and colours into intimate treasures to be cherished.

A bit about me: I graduated in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins College in London in 2009 before embarking on a transformative journey in South America, where I honed my skills alongside talented jewellers and developed a deep passion for gemstones and jewellery making. Upon my return to London in 2012, I continued my creative journey through self-education, constantly pushing the boundaries of traditional jewellery making and design.

Barbora Rybarova Jewellery has been constantly growing and evolving since then. I moved to Margate over 5 years ago where the ever changing sky and sea are a continuous inspiration in my work.

Alice Ruby

Originally from London, Alice began her creative journey as a professional piercer in Camden. In 2013, she took a jewellery-making class on a whim - and from the very first session, she was captivated. What started as a curiosity quickly grew into a deep passion, and over the past decade, Alice has honed her craft as a jeweller, with a particular love for carving wax and casting in solid gold.

Now the founder of Alice Ruby, she balances her artistry with motherhood, raising three young children while continuing to create meaningful, illustrative designs. Her work draws inspiration from symbolism, modern mysticism, and a fascination with storytelling through objects. Designed for the lovers and dreamers,  her collection ranges from unique engagement rings to handmade labrets and jewellery for piercings. Every piece is infused with intention, offering a blend of beauty, sentiment, and individuality.
