SoBar is proud to be partnering with Turner Contemporary, Margate, for their first ever Wellness Festival this February, launching at Turner Lates x Margate Radio on 23 January.
SoBar presents a curated bar of low and no-alcohol serves, giving guests a great taste of premium alcohol-free drinks. Created by Ronnie Traynor of The Sober Social and Claire Warner of Drink Positive, Sobar blends expertise in mindful drinking, wellness, and flavour-forward experiences.
Guests can expect a thoughtfully selected line-up of some of the most exciting names in alcohol-free drinks, including:
Jin Jin • Lucky Saint • Real Co • CleanCo • Three Spirit • Better Sundays • Fever-Tree • Non Such (Aspalls)
The SoBar will be open on the following dates:
- Fri 30 Jan 2026, 6–10pm
- Sat 31 Jan 2026, 10am–9pm
- Thu 5 Feb 2026, 11am–8pm
- Fri 6 Feb 2026, 4.30–5.30pm and upstairs from 5.30–9pm
- Sat 7 Feb 2026 11am–9pm
- Wed 11 Feb 2026 6–9pm
- Fri 13 Feb 2026 6.30–9.30pm
- Sat 14 Feb 2026 9.30am–2pm and 4.30pm–7pm
- Sun 15 Feb 2026 9.30am–5.30pm
- Sun 22 Feb 9.30am–1pm and 7pm–9pm
Please note: The main galleries are open 11am–5pm Wed-Sun. Food and drinks are not permitted in these spaces but you are welcome to have your drinks in the Sunley Gallery and Foyle rooms.

SoBar (aka The SoBar Social) is the alcohol-free bar and social movement founded by Ronnie Traynor in 2021, created in response to a growing desire for more inclusive, meaningful ways to gather. What began as a personal journey soon grew into a community-led platform rooted in joy, connection and conscious socialising — free from pressure, stigma or exclusion.
