Try it outWhat is Creative Mindfulness?
Ever notice how time flies when you’re drawing or creating? Sometimes, it’s the act of making something, not the finished piece, that brings the most joy. That’s the essence of creative mindfulness.
The activities in these videos are designed to help you practice mindfulness—focusing on yourself, your thoughts, and your surroundings, so you can be fully present in the moment. Mindfulness means letting go of worries about the past or future and bringing your focus to what’s happening right now. It helps improve focus, boosts relaxation, and can even help you release distractions or stress.
Mindfulness takes practice, and you’ll notice your thoughts wander. When they do, simply observe them and gently bring your attention back to the task at hand—using the activity as your anchor to stay grounded in the moment.
