BSL Tours

Explore our exhibitions through British Sign Language (BSL)

Created for Deaf visitors, BSL users and learners, these engaging tours offer a unique way to experience our exhibitions. Discover key artworks, uncover the stories behind them, and gain deeper insight into the exhibition's themes and ideas.

Tours take place in the gallery and are led in British Sign Language. Each tour responds to the exhibition on display, bringing together stories about the artists and artworks with opportunities to look, think, and talk about what you see. There will be no voiceover.

Tours are delivered by Jason Redwood, a BSL teacher for Palm Deaf BSL Training, working with Signature and delivering tours for Turner and the British Museum. He's passionate about sharing his insights and welcomes everyone with a BSL background, including students and the Deaf community.

All tours are free to join, but booking is advised.
