Visitor Engagement Manager

Turner Contemporary is seeking a Visitor Engagement Manager to join the gallery team.

The Visitor Engagement Manager will inspire and motivate Turner Contemporary’s front-facing team to deliver an exceptional, enjoyable and engaging experience for all visitors.

They will ensure conversation and personal interaction is at the centre of the visitor experience and that access is both inviting and illuminating.

This role will support the line management of the Engagement Assistant team, ensuring the team are well briefed and safe, secure and compliant with relevant legislation and policies.

Act as Duty Manager for the gallery on a rota basis, taking responsibility for site operations and the response to incidents.

The gallery is keen to attract staff from backgrounds that are under-represented in the organisation. Applicants who can demonstrate lived experience of diversity and/or understanding of the issues most affecting our community, are particularly welcome.
