Alex Hills
Margate-born and bred, and now living and working as a musician and songwriter here. This year he’s written, recorded and self-produced his first album called Findr, which is being released on July 12th 2024, with an album launch the night before on the 11th at ‘Whereelse?’ in Margate.
Alongside the album, he has created a vlog on YouTube that tells the story of the album and about his background. It has a talking bear and a talking manakin that he bought from Facebook marketplace. Also our very own Mrs Booth (the pier statue) makes a feature on the first episode!
Last year, he went to his very first Pride event in Margate and had the best time. He vowed there and then that he will go to every single Margate pride from here on out! So he’s really excited and honoured to actually be taking part in this event at Pride this year.
