RENU (Renu Hossain)
RENU (Renu Hossain) is a London-born, Bengali heritage, Berlin, London-based interdisciplinary artist.
She is a composer, Electronic producer, tabla-player, percussionist and curator. Originally a percussionist for – Grace Jones. Learning from percussion Masters in India, Brazil and Cuba, composing for choreography, theatre & film.
RENU released ‘They Dance in the Dark’ late 2017 to critical acclaim. Her album has been lionised by The Quietus, Art Forum Magazine (Top 10 album of the year), BBC Radio 6 & BBC Late Junction.
