Take inspiration from the natural environment and the colours and shapes used by the artist Beatriz Milhazes to make your own colourful light catchers.  Choose between making a window design or mobile, using reclaimed materials.
Free bookable 45 minute timeslots on the day at 1pm, 2pm & 3pm

Where possible Turner Contemporary is committed to sourcing sustainable materials to help minimise our negative impact on the environment. For the Colourful Windows workshops, off cuts of vinyl have been generously donated by Vinyline, Expression Signs, Premier Signs, as well as Perspex shapes from Blaze Signs. 

Workshop booking procedure:  

To join a workshop, find an Engagement Assistant in the Clore Learning Studio and sign up for a slot on the day. Each slot is designed for 15 children and runs for 45 minutes. Slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until the workshop reaches maximum capacity.  

Parents and carers must stay within the space during the workshop and are encouraged to join in.
