Join us in the Foyle Rooms to hear from the Sony team and get tips on how to get into the gaming industry. You’ll also hear from artist Larry Achiampong, whose practice is heavily influenced by the games he grew up playing, and Shay Thompson, a journalist, presenter and member of the games industry who has worked with Bafta, McLaren, Xbox, Music Week Magazine, Ubisoft and other brands.

Artist Larry Achiampong and host and presenter Shay Thompson will be talking about how games have influenced them in their work and practice.
Presenters
Larry Achiampong (born 1984, London) works in film, sculpture, installation, sound, collage, music and performance. Drawing on popular culture and his communal and personal heritage, his work explores post-colonial and post-digital identity, and the deeply entrenched inequalities in contemporary society.
Shay Thompson is a presenter and journalist, working in games and entertainment.
