Following on from Mark Leckey’s Music and Video Lab run with CAST Gallery, Cornwall, in summer 2022, Turner Contemporary has partnered with Arts Education Exchange to deliver a Lab in Margate during In The Offing. The initiative is designed to create a space for experimentation and discovery through video editing, music production and digital media for young people aged between 16–25 years. 

The sessions have been led by:

Tom Postgate – Music Assistant and Tonetic Records Lead

Joe Kondras – Music Lead

Josh Halcro – Film Lead

With support from Mark Leckey and Ashley Holmes.

Celebration Event: 

The multi-screen pop-up exhibition will showcase the audio-visual work the group has been working on over their 6 sessions working with Arts Education Exchange facilitators, along with input from Mark Leckey and Ashley Holmes (whose work features as part of In The Offing).  

At 2:45pm  there will be a moment for live performances as well as an introduction to the Music and Video Lab group and insight into the process.
