Members of the Emerging Producers group have teamed up with seaside historian and archivist Dan Thompson to devise and deliver a walking tour that takes in highlights from Margate's fascinating history.

Starts 11:15am outside Margate Train Station and finishes approx. 12:45pm at Turner Contemporary. The tour lasts up to 90 mins.
Members of the Emerging Producers group have teamed up with seaside historian and archivist Dan Thompson to devise and deliver a walking tour that takes in highlights from Margate’s fascinating history.
In just over an hour you’ll learn about pleasure gardens, circus, and Dreamland, as well as the famous people who visited Margate including TS Eliot, Karl Marx, JMW Turner and David Bowie.
The walk starts at 11:15am outside Margate train station and finishes at approx. 12:45pm at Turner Contemporary. The walk is largely flat and does not involve steps.
