Black Lives Matter

Black Lives Matter.

We would like to express our solidarity with the anti-racist movements and protests happening around the world.

We all have a role in speaking out. At Turner Contemporary we stand for equality and inclusion and do not tolerate racism. We are committed to being anti-racist.

We believe in the power of art to inspire change. Our current exhibitions explore issues of race, power and representation and we will continue to share and champion these vital histories, artworks and voices.

However, as an organisation we recognise that we still have considerable work to do and that this change needs to be continuous. We will critically and consistently review how we address racism and diversity across our whole organisation.

Black lives matter. We will listen, ask questions of ourselves and others, support and take more action.
