This event is British Sign Language interpreted. An interpreter will be standing next to the speakers and visible to attendees. They will interpret what is being discussed into BSL for d/Deaf and hard of hearing attendees.
The event will be filmed and released via Turner Contemporary’s digital channels.

Melanca Clark is a non-profit leader and has served as President and CEO of the Hudson-Webber Foundation from 2016 to 2023. Under Clark’s leadership, the Foundation contributed more than $40 million to nonprofit organizations moving the city of Detroit forward.

Allie Biswas is a writer and editor based in London. Her most recent publication is a collection of essays by the critic Larry Neal, ‘Any Day Now: Toward a Black Aesthetic’ (2024), which she edited.
