Accessibility: The Foyle Rooms are located on the ground floor of the gallery and are wheelchair and buggy accessible, with step free access. There will be space to store buggies at the event. We have a partial divide in the space to create a quiet corner to allow children to relax and parents to breastfeed.
This event is being organised by Turner Contemporary, Thanet Children’s Centres, Millmead Children Centre and the Margate Early Learning Community, with support from Save the Children. During the event, you and your family will have the opportunity to take part in a range of crafting activities inspired by our 3 current exhibitions: Cold Light by Lindsay Seers and Keith Sargent, In Real Life by Stephen Cripps and Fantastical Worlds by Project Motor House. You will also receive a craft kit to take home.
Please note, some activities will involve using messy materials such as paint and glue, so we would advise that children wear clothes that are ok to get messy.
There will also be photography taking place during the event, organised by Turner Contemporary. Please make sure you tick your chosen preference on the sign up form, we will also have a consent form on the day if you change your mind.
Please do get in contact if you have any accessibility needs
